Our Rooms
Baby
Cosy, warm, home from home. Leads onto a garden safe for babies to explore. Staff are highly qualified and focus is on nurturing secure relationships.
Toddler
Maintaining the nurture of the baby room, but begins to introduce more structure within the days, such as story and song group times, welly walks, loose part play and exploring Montessori approaches.
Pre-school
Because the core of our environment has been based upon nurture, our children quickly become confident learners with a thirst to learn. The pre-school room takes full advantage of these amazing little minds and offers a range of learning activities, including forest school, real life role play, Reggio inspired tinker area and Montessori Busy shelves.
Forest School and Welly Walks
Every week our Pre-schoolers walk out to the woods next to the nursery. No matter what the weather there are things to find, animals to see and puddles to jump in. Our Forest School trained staff organise activities and adventures for every season, helping the children learn about the natural world around them.
Both the Toddlers and Pre-schoolers often take a welly walk into the muddy fields to see how much mess they can make.
Play is an important time for learning and interacting
There are a variety of different areas and activities to explore whilst in our outside spaces. These include a mud kitchen to be creative, climbing frames and balancing beams to encourage risk taking, loose part play for construction, and a beautifully created outside cabin where children can cuddle up in front of the fire, read stories and play games in small groups.
